REGULATIONS
• Art. 1 The Banca Intesa Agoal Tennis Group is holding
the 9th annual Banca Intesa Trophy – 30th annual European Tennis Championship
from september 12th to september 19th in San Vincenzo ( Li )
Elegibility: Employees and/or retired ex-employees from any European Bank,
Banking Group or Financial Institution.
Format of the Championship:
-1° Singles and doubles team competition - Coppa del Presidente
-2° Open men’s singles competition
-3° Women’s singles competititon
-4° Senior men’s singles competition (over 45) reserved for players
born before December 31st, 1964
-5° Senior men’s singles competition (over 55) reserved for players
born before December 31st, 1954
-6° Senior men’s singles competition (over 60) reserved for players
born before December 31st, 1949
-7° Senior men's singles competition (over 65) reserved for players
born before December 31st, 1944
-8° Open men’s doubles competition. The players of the teams must be employed by or retired from the same Bank .
-9° Senior men’s doubles competition (over 45). The players of the teams may either be employed by or retired from the same Bank or from two different Banks.
-10° Senior men’s doubles (+120) .The players of the teams may either be employed by or retired from the same Bank or two different Banks.
• Art. 2 The participants of all the competitions, with the exception of the women’s singles, must be:
- employees or retired ex-employees from any European Bank, Banking Group or Financial Institution.
• Art. 3 Entry applications must be sent using the form given by the Organisation Committee and completed in every part, as well as enclosing the declaration from the Personnel Dept. of the Bank. Any variations must be communicated by 12.00 on the Saturday before the start of the competitions.
• Art. 4 The organisation Committee has the right to limit the number of participants.
• Art. 5 Players are allowed to play in one or more singles' competitions (maximum two)
• Art. 6 For players who have never participated in this event, it's necessary that each bank provides the classification or the level of the players in order to favour a correct compilation of the competitions' main draw which will otherwise be made up exclusively considering the previous edition’s results.
• Art. 7 All Italian participants must show an updated F.I.T. members card, while foreign players must have a membership card of their Federation. Entry fee Euro 30,00
• Art. 8 The applications for the competitions must arrive by August 10th, 2009 by e-mail at the following address toscana2009@gmail.com depositing the relative entry fee on the bank account number c/c 1000/00000148 , in the name of
Mr. Cremascoli Bruno & Mr. Varisco Massimo ,
Banca Intesa Sanpaolo Milano branch referring to the competitions which one intends to participate in.

The main draw will be compiled on September 12 afternoon.
• Art. 9 All matches will be the best of two out of three sets . A tie-breaker will be played at 6 games levelled at all sets. The organisation Committee reserves to change the playing rules if necessary (No-ad/short sets, deciding tie-breaker etc..)
• Art. 10 The scheduling timetable will be shown each day by the hosting hotel. All players must comply with the fixed time and whoever fails to doing so may be eligible for match exclusion.
• Art. 11 Matches will be held on clay court. Matches will start at 9.00 in the morning
and will continue through the day on the courts of the San Vincenzo's Village
The referee can switch the matches to artificial light or onto covered courts and/or with hard surfaces.
• Art. 12 All the participants, at the request of the referee, are obliged to umpire at least a match a day.
• Art. 13 Players cannot enter two tournements at the same time, apart from those organised during the international tennis week.
• Art. 14 The balls to be used will be DUNLOP Fort
• Art. 15 The Banca Intesa Agoal Tennis Group declines responsibility for any damage and /or accident occurred to players.
• Art. 16 In the competition "Coppa del Presidente" each team consists of seven players male and female (employees or ex-employees retired from the same bank). For this competition the I.T.F.'s regulations for the team matches do not apply. More than one team entry from the same bank is allowed. Teams of less than 7 male/female players can also participate in this competition, however, with an obligation to put on court at least 2 singles and 2 doubles.
Note: Before the start of the matches the participating teams must present a list of players specifying which players shall play in singles and doubles.
The matches to be played are the following:
-n. 2 Singles match "Open"
-n. 1 Singles match "seniors over 45"
-n. 1 Double match "Open"
-n. 1 Doubles match "Seniors over 45"
Procedure for Ties: The matches will be played with a 'round robin' format.
The number of the groups will be determined on the basis of the number of
the teams partecipating.
Each player can only take part in one match for every Tie.
A Tie will be decided by the combined result of Singles and Doubles and the side which wins the majority of matches will be the winner of the Tie.
In case of late arrival at the scheduled time, even for a combination game with another match, the point is given to the opposing team. In the case of even points at the end of a round, a draw of the opponents is made. Any player nominated for any match in the Tie must commence or complete such match unless he is unable either by illness, accident or other unavoidable hindrance. Violation of this rule will subject a player to not be eligible in the next Tie or any other competition.
Art. 17 - The organision committee with the unanimous consent of the team's captains
has the faculty to change the rules as above mentioned.
• Art. 18 – The International Tennis Federation's regulations are valid for anything not contemplated in these regulations.
Prizes: In the team's competitions there are prizes for maximum ten players for each team
plus the 'Coppa del Presidente'.
In the others competitions there are prizes for the winner, finalist and semifinalists

- silver cups or plates for the italians best classified
- free short stay at prestigious Austrian's hotels

- gifts from sponsors: Lotto, Poderi San Pietro, Head, JVC, Pierre Bonnet
- all partecipants will be given a souvenir
